“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”
– Mark Twain
Pelling has gone through a radical within change these 20 years. That time Pelling tour was quite special. I have seen rain in mountain that was for the first time in my life. It’s a daring experience. Pelling’s weather is not good on that time. Kanchanjunga falls is very famous falls in Pelling.
Kanchanjungafalls:
This falls is one of the Best falls in pelling. We went to peling during 2016 and also went for the sitescene. The falls covers a huge of area. The prominent view of this falls isin front. Due to fog we had missed the rainbow in front of falls. But overall in was a very nice experience. This falls is located 20km away from pelling.
Whenever you visit pelling make sure you visit all the places worth seeing within 1pm or the place starts getting shrouded with fog gradually which will prevent you to enjoy the natural beauty and exotic snapshot.
Visiting Kanchenjunga falls is an experience .The gush of water, its force, the sound, the mist everything was simply awesome.
Those who are photography freak can enjoy the adventured to walk across the stone. But one must be careful it’s slippery at places. However you can the front view then you can take a ticket worth rs10 only. They have zipline at 100/person though it does seem exciting.

KhechiperiLake :
Pemiyangsi Monastery:
Pelling has an old monastery. That is pemiyangsi. There is little worth mountain about the place. Although the place has to change. All over the pelingthere are many hotels. The residence of lamas is in side of monastery. The monastery has 3 floors. Some 17 and 18 years ago different type of books and utensils where used on the top floor of the monastery. Photography is prohibited in the monastery. This is lovely example of working monastery where young monks can be seen and going to school. Entrances fee is Rs 10/person, enter the premises leaving the shoes outside.
Sinsor Bridge:
Sinsor Bridge is the 2nd highest bridge of Asia. The bridge keeps suspended hanging between the mountains. When we were visiting in the bridge then it started to rain and the fog covered the place.it was very beautiful scenario.Stone takes time around 9 second to fall from the bridge.

KhechiperiLake :
It is huge place. You can reach main place of this place about place. It’s a religious place. It would be safe to avoid people who are older. But the most attracting part is that the message of Buddha is spread all around depicted in the flags through the road.
The prominent view of this lake is the front view.
The parking charge is Rs.10. At the end of the lake one there is a bridge locates, that is very clean and ones needs to leave the shoes outside to enter.
Rabdentse Ruins :
At evening we were reached that place but still the place was interesting place for people who like archeology. Though we were come that place at evening so the light became very low and the vision was not very clear. That place was more than 2 km long to Saw the architecture.
The light was not enough so we can not do the video of that place. The place very peaceful. There were some ruins still exist for previous empire. It was the second capital of the former kingdom of Sikkim..” Must visit if you like photography or history or both” note:- that place is not for the aged people.
