It’s again a new tour in 2016. This year is very special for me. In 2016, I have coverd 3 hill stations and sight scene of Ganga. This time we covered Peling and Rabangla. Peling is quite special for me because twenty years ago, I had come here. We started our journey on 7th october. We went to Rabangla from NJP station. It’s a new spot of Sikkim. Ravangla hotels are very costly but we managed a good hotel.
Our tour was conducted in October so it was not too cold. We started our journey for Rabangla sight scene. This time we had 10 members in our tour. First we visited Temitea garden. The main problem of hill station is fog. The fog covered the whole place. So that we decided to take a look hilly areas. After visiting Temitea garden.
Chardham :
It’s the first place of Rabangla. The main attraction of Chardham is the replica of India’s top most temples. It’s a huge place. Its need 2 hours to cover the whole place. The replica of Kedarnath, Badrinath and Tirupti etc. are situated here.
You have 2 keep sufficient time in hand to explore this place. you will enjoy & experience the best temple sculpture of India.
RabanglaMonestry :
Rabanglamonestry is the oldest monestry of Rabangla. This monestry is also called Second Rumtekmonestry, because it’s a replica of Rumtekmonestry. This place covers a huge place. This place is 13 km away for Buddha Park. We find monks galore and get acquainted with their lifestyle.
One of the beautiful places of Rabangla that is Temitea Garden. This is our bad luck that when we came here then fog covered these places. The first sight scene of Rabangla started from here. When you can go here to try the breakfast maggi is very famous here can be seen well from the tea garden.
Samdruptse Hill :
The huge Buddha statue is situated in this mountain. The ropeway leads 6 km through the forest. If you can have time to go to this place. It’s cannot be visited within a short span of time.
The monastery is located in this Buddha Idol. We can see the full view of this place from here.
Some of the gift slopes are also located below the monestry. The entry fee of this monestry is 25 rs. The ropeway service is out of this place, we cannot go for short time. This place is 20 km away from Rabangla. This place is good for photography.

?
I greatly recommend all of you to visit the place at least once. The view of this place is just awesome; some gift shops are also located in this place.

Would like to visit the monastery sometime.. I have never visted one..
Sikkim is truly a beautiful place. The people there are so kind and helpful. I have been there twice in the last year but still somehow couldn’t manage to visit this town. But it’s definitely on the list for next time. Thanks for sharing your lovely experience.
