Jallianwala bagh is second most popular place in Amritsar apart from Golden Temple.
This place is very near to Golden Temple. This place is one of the symbols of sacrifices that were made by our heroes for the freedom that we enjoy today. On Sunday, 13 April 1919, British general Dyre opened fire on silently protesting crowd in Jallianwala bagh. More than 1000 were killed within 10 minutes until the ammunition supply was almost exhausted.

The elegance in its architecture shines through ages and will shine impeccably through the years to come by while withstanding weatherly challenges.

This is a small garden. The park is renovated and sort of stole the thunder of the historical incident that happened. Only those who are interested in history can visit there. The monuments are those that we read during our childhood history books. To see them live is an experience in itself.
