Offbeat Shillong:- 3 Mind-Blowing Experiences.

Today We have shared the 3 mind Blowing Experiences of Shillong, India

“Lady Hydari Park”

It is beautiful park.the Park is spreaded over an area of more than a kilometer and features a mini zoo that has about 73 species of birds, 140 species of reptiles and other mammals.
Like most of the parks this park is also unique.

We visited their Oct 2014 one can spend hours admiring the flowers and greenery. Weather is always very kind to Shillong.
Nice place to be.

The souls which make this charming and warm city of joy even more passionate.

“Mawjymbuin Cave”

This place is in Cherapunjee, it’s visit is very adventures. It is 100 meters long naturally built in cave.As a natural stone formation in the shape of the shiv-linga.ust for a novel experience, this is good, but not well maintained and can be scary as well as dangerous for the non adventurous variety.

Our advice would be to leave small children and elderly as well as claustrophobic persons out of this one. Very spiritual experience as in a huge cave Lord ShivaLinga is there. Its a mesmerizing experience..Continues Water is falling exactly in the middle of Linga. What acombination of Spirituality and Nature. Its about 55 KMs from Shillong..

“Seven sisters falls”

It is commonly known as the seven sisters falls as there are seven separate streams of water dropping into the valley. It less than 5 mins drive from Mawsmai caves. Visited it during sightscene. So the streams were quite thin.Best time would be april/may.The Nohsngithiang Falls is also known as the Mawsmai Falls.

“Must be awesome in or after Monsoon”
Now the disturbed weather has changed the course of rain a lot there. Locals also resonate with my view that rains are irregular there now and falls are not that magnificent.
The water falls from a height of 315 Metres (1,033 ft) and has an average width of 70 Metres (230 ft).[1] making it one of the tallest waterfalls in India.
