I had a little memory about this tour but when I see the old photography then I remember it. But one thing that I remember is that time I was in class 4 in 1996. After 21 years I am sharing my experience of the tour of Gangtok and Pelling.
Although I had been to Pelling in 2016 as well I had a little memory if this childhood trip.
 

GANGTOK:-
We arranged for the tour on 25th December in 1996. We went to Rumtek and Changu Lake.
 
RUMTEK MONESTRY:-

The best attraction of Gangtok is Rumtek Monastery. This monastery comprises a huge place. I have a little memory about this place in particular. But I remember that in this monastery it was starkly dark inside so be careful When you are visiting. Photography is prohibited in the monastery. Starting from main gate along the way there are preterm wheels. The main building of this monastery has a golden stupa. I hope so in my life I shall come ones again.

 
CHANGU LAKE:-
 
Most of the Indian are well aware of the Changu Lake. It is very famous lake. The place had been very cold. The road was covered by snow. So we got down from the car about 4 km away. The road was covered by snow from both sides all around. Whenever we visited the lake then we would see the lake was fully covered by snow.

 

 
The temperature was very low and cold wind makes the awesome weather. We went that place in December and we saw the best view of that place because hardly one can find that much of snow in December. In India Changu Lake in one of the wonders of the 7 wonders. Everyone must carried full cold protection jacket of that place.
 
PELING:-

In 1996 we first visited in Peling but in that time I was a child so I couldn’t remember all the place of peling. So we again visited in Peling in 2016. But previous experience and present scenario was to totally different. We visited the same place which we had visited previously like, Kanchan Jangha Falls, Kechiperi Lake etc. It is an amazing experience for me.
