The Queen of Hills of India – Shimla

Shimla tour is one of the biggest tours in my life. That time I was in class 3 even I didn’t know the distance between Kolkata and Shimla but that time I was so much excited. But I remembered the road of Shimla to Manali is very nice.

Our journey begins from Kolkata and we reached Ambala station. Then we had gone to Shimla from Ambala, though I remembered a little portion of this tour. In evening we reached Shimla and the weather was pretty cool and pleasant.

KALIBARI:-
Kalibari is located on the top of the hill and from our hotel this temple is not so far. So, next day we went to Kalibari and this is a nice place.

After that we started our sight scene. The best part of Shimla is Shimla mall. This market occupies a large portion and this is a nice place for marketing.

MANALI:-
From Shimla to Manali the journey take almost 1 day. That time the weather of Manali was cold.

ROTANG PASS:-
In my life Rotang pass is the first place where I saw snowfall and I remembered the whole scenery. That time the wind was blowing so much so we can’t covered the whole portion. The place was covered by full of snow. This experience is beautiful for me.

HADIMBA TEMPLE:-
This temple is located in forest and far away from the city. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata and the forest is surrounded by the Mountains.

MANIKARAN TEMPLE:-
This small town attracts tourists visiting Manali and Kullu to its hot springs and pilgrim centres.

An experimental geothermal energy plant has also been set up here. We went to Manikaran from Manali. Here a Gurudware also situated.

But this place is famous for the hot spring. This place one side occupy hot water and other side occupy cold water. It’s an amazing experience.

Also Bipasa River and Vasni Devi temple located here. This is one of the biggest tours of my life.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bow lines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
