A long tour organized twice in one’s life it’s very rear. The same case was happened in my life. Haridwar is a long tour and we went to Haridwar twice in 2006 when we visited at Kedarnath and 2010 at Nainital tour. Haridwar means a divine experience. Haridwar hotels are very clean and cheap in my experience.
Though this tour started with Haridwar and we again came back Haridwar. After visiting Badrinath and Rudra Prayag we reached Haridwar.
“When Ganga was brought to Haridwar, then all the Gods asked: ’We wash all sins , but who will wash us?’ Ganga said this to Lord Vishnu:’Lord Vishnu Bhagwan, tell us, what should we do?’ Then the Lord said: ‘As many sadhus and saints are living in this world , every time they will bathe in Ganga, all your sins will be washed away”
HARIDWAR CITY:-
The best attraction of Haridwar is Evening Aarti. For this purpose the people are used to visit the place.
There also several temples are located here like Bharatmatamandir,Chandidevitemple,Mansadevi,Dakhewaramaha dev temple ,Mayadevitemple,Neelleshwartemple,Pawandham,Satikund etc. I have remembered one of the temples called Pavan Dham. This temple height almost 7th floor building and all the temples are carrying some speciality. Ones must visit this place to see those religious people.
LAKHSMAN JHOLA AND RAM JHOLA:-
Lakshman Jhula is an iron suspension bridge situated in Rishikesh in Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. A similar bridge near Lakshman Jhula is Ram Jhula. We again visited this place in 2011.
CHANDIDEVI TEMPLE:-
This temple is located on top of the hill. One’s must visit this place if you are in Haridwar. The main attraction of this place is rope way and many people use to visit this place, though one’s can use road to reach this temple. This place is 4 km away from Haridwar.
One’s can travel by auto rikshaw or cycle rikshaw to reach this place where the journey is start. You can see the whole city and the Ganga river when you travel by rope way. The suitable time to visit this place is morning. This experience was outstanding for me.
