Rajgir is a city and a notified area in Nalanda district in the Indian state of Bihar. The city of Rajgir (ancient Rājagṛha; Pali: Rājagaha) was the first capital of the kingdom of Magadha, a state that would eventually evolve into the Mauryan Empire its blazing white 40m-high Vishwashanti Stupa.
One of the best thrilling experience of my life.
I always knew ropeway means a structure with covered cage (capsule) but seen a ropeway first time in my life which is single Chair car ropeway. After I sat there really felt like my body weight decreased & I’m 20ft above. I travelled first time in this kind of Ropeway.
it’s like a chair based Ropeway.there are almost 8 stations in middle.from one side to another it takes 7minuts. There are many Ropeway together in the total line.It looks wonderfull.
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
– – Neale Donald Walsch
This 7 minutes sitting in the ropeway. I was feeling like I’m flying.after that we went to 40ft high Viswashanti stupa.
It looks slightly like Dhabalgiri & it’s situated on Ratna giri mountain. Viswa Shanti stup is of a wide area. When we went there weather was very pleasant.Though there are walking option also except Ropeway but it takes very long time.
Japaneese had made this & they had taken 18 months to make it.here different parts are available of Buddha’s life through statues. But the Buddha statue is made by gold which I absolutely loved.
The city was in a valley surrounded by seven hills: Vaibhara, Ratna, Saila, Sona, Udaya,Chhatha, and Vipula. It is sacred to the memory of the founders of both the religions: Buddhism and Jainism and associated with both the historical Buddha and Mahavira.
